HAHA! Because most people in the world react with joy and kindness when their car gets booted.

This is like judging everyone in the state of Georgia based on the Honey Boo Boo family.

Reality TV makes it a point to find the bad, the ugly, and the most extreme to get viewers to tune in. Some lady cussing out a cop because he just booted her car is not indicative of everyone in Philadelphia, for crying out loud.

I live in Buffalo, and I think most people don't realize just how GREEN it is here, like emerald green(not in the winter obviously) and also that it is very forrest-y and surrounded by lots and lots of water(waterfalls, lakes, rivers etc)

most of us here do that weird thing where you turn your eyelids inside out and will walk around all day like that goofing on each other but when someone else comes around we flip them back right and act normal.

Have you ever seen the show? they have a Detriot and a Providence version of the show and the people they run into in those cities are far less ghetto and rude when their cars are being booted and ticketed. So while I agree with your statement about not judging everyone based on a reality show, I do think there is a bit of truth to it.

The only thing about Long Island, NY that I find to be "cool" is one of the things that make it "suck": There are a lot of famous and wealthy people that live/own homes here; which drives up the cost of housing for the rest of us shmucks.

And watching Jersey Shore would make one think the Jersey is an awful place

Not sure parking wars encapsulates the persona of all people in Philly

First of all, I stand by my post, regardless of whether you, with all your reality-show expertise, think it's BS. I was answering the question seriously, and anyone who grew up in Philly knows what I'm talking about.

I guess that is the same thing for the area I live in and I would add the proximity to islands and mountains. Maybe that we have the 6th biggest mall in the country too.
