Baltimore isn't considered the DMV. The DMV is more inline with the DC metro and that's really all that's to it. You'd never hear a Baltimore, Virginia Beach, Roanoke, Ocean City, Etc resident saying there from the DMV. Hope this helps.

Exactly. In the hip-hop community many DC rappers aren't from the actual city but instead PG (Prince George County, MD) but on the national platform how many people have heard of PG county? Not many, although it has a terrible reputation in the DMV but they'd rather say there from either DC or the DMV, not PG. Everyone must remember in the hip-hop community the worse neighborhood your from, the greater reputation you have. DC may be a nice city to tourist but it has extremely rough parts to it still that mostly border PG County. So of course pa middle-age caucasian in Fairfax County wouldn't say "I'm from the DMV", its pretty much only for the young crowd.

LOL, the only time I can associate DMV with anything is when were talking about the Department of Motor Vehicles.
