I thought it would be a fun thread to post the stereotypes or funny things about your city or state. It could be things you made up, or things that have been said before.
I will start.
You know you are from Washington(the state) when...
-You remember where you were when Mt. St Helens erupted(assuming you were alive)
-You know how to pronounce Sequim, Puyallup, Enumclaw and Issaquah.
-You see a person carrying an umbrella and know they must be a tourist.
-You can tell the difference between Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai food.
-You have an earthquake story, and so does everyone else you know.
-You only visit the Space Needle if you need someplace to take out of town guests.
-You always have to specify “the state of Washington” instead of just saying Washington because of DC.
