^^ the odd part is the early 90s especially were likely the low point of Philly

thanks for thr write up though, can releate to much of what you wrote

I also moved away to only realize how much I liked the place

Yeah, I know the early '90s were the low point. I was five when Rendell was elected, so I don't have a clear memory. My Center City experiences are from the late '90s when the recovery was definitely underway. Also, the historic sites were still fine back then and Center City at its lowest point was never Camden.

I think Oxford Circle was nicer in the '90s, though.
