As it did in every state. But white flight didn't happen in California. They were simply vastly out paced in terms of growth by Asians and Latino's.

Connecticut new jersey new York Massachusetts Rhode island ...those are states where whites actually lost hundreds of thousands in numbers and large shares of the population .

Have you read the post where it showed 800,000+ white non Hispanic Californians moving out of state or dying, between 2000-2010.
