Kinda like certain posters and the ignore button...

I see the Michigan and California ads the most. The CA one annoys me.

In Indianapolis, we get Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. Louisville sets up booths at a lot of our local events and things too.

In California, we ironically get a lot of "Visit California" ads as well. I don't really watch TV, so this could be a unique event, but I get a laugh every time I see them depicting the Hollywood Hills as I look at them from outside my window.....

I've also seen ads for Nevada and British Columbia. Not really anything more from other states.

What's funny about the Hollywood Hills depiction?

In NY I have seen a lot of CA and Vegas commercials. The CA ones are super annoying.

I see the most ads for California, Florida and down the shore living here, in the Philly market. When I was in the Harrisburg market, it was mostly adverts for California, Florida and a bunch of outdoorsie states. Alaska, Nevada, Utah, Montana, et al, pretty much equally.

In Chicago it's tons of Michigan ads, although I actually don't mind them and I have to admit they're quite effective. I don't think the average person realizes Michigan is such a tourist state and has a huge industry and a lot of natural beauty. People just think about the 5% of the state that's the city of Detroit and Flint.

I also see some Vegas and Iowa ads.

My favorite are the Montana ads they put up all over the inside of the L trains. So when it's 20 degrees outside and you get on the train at 8am you're confronted by a long row of ads along the top of the train saying "MONTANA" and showing this snow covered harsh looking natural environment with a few large animals standing around. Cause that's what I want to think about when it's the middle of winter and I've been walking down a cold street!

When I'm in Iowa I tend to see a decent amount of Illinois ads.

Real life is so much different than what they depict.

I guess I can't see it as much of a sight. I associate it with more messed up memories
