About 80 miles from the nearest border; Alabama
About 85 miles from the next nearest border; South Carolina

Almost a tie.

Can't believe I'm the only one who lives in HI to post here so far. Google Earth tells me I'm about 2350 from Northern California

That probably isn't the nearest "border" considering the other small island countries in the Pacific. Which is closest?

I'm about 56.3 miles from the state line with Iowa from where I live in Nebraska. That's as the crow flies though. I'm also about 100 miles from the Kansas border and about 110 or so from South Dakota.

We are 172 miles to the Oregon Border, but only 115 miles to the Canadian border. Nice to live right between those two cities, both fun to visit. We are the furthest from the Idaho border, at 312 miles.
