30 miles north of California, 300 miles south of Washington, 350 (driving) miles from Nevada, 450 (driving) miles east of Idaho. The "driving" part is because the roads get sparse that direction from here. As the crows flies type miles, Idaho and Nevada are a little closer.

11 hours shouldn't be a multi-day drive. It can easily be done in a day especially with more than one driver. Though from Pensacola to the Key West its a bit more than 11 hours, its still easily done in a day.

Obviously you can't do a day trip to Key West from Pensacola, you have to be in South Florida for that, and even then it's best as a weekend trip cuz from Miami and Key West and back its about 7 hours or so on the road, won't give as much time to enjoy the island. For 4-5 days even 3, its not too bad. I drive to Miami from Texas once a year (now gonna be from Minnesota, as I'm moving, though idk about once a year anymore lol) and we don't even stay in Miami that many days. After doing that drive so many times, 11 hours is nothing to me lol. It does take a long time to reach southwest Alabama from Miami, though, and the fact its all in one state makes the drive drag on. It's not so bad to me I guess, I love road trips.
