55 Miles to Wisconsin
130 Miles to Iowa
150 Miles to South Dakota
160 Miles to North Dakota
270 Miles to Ontario
360 Miles to Manitoba

A few Super Bowls ago we forgot to get beer the night before (since Liquor Stores are closed Sundays in MN), we drove the 55 miles to Hudson, Wisconsin for beer!!

This was never really a big deal when I lived in Duluth, which was just across the high bridge to Superior.

It amazes me how far the Ontario, Canada border stretches. When I think of border regions of Ontario I think of Upstate NY near where Toronto is and Michigan, but all the way over to Minnesota, that's a long way!

Over 200 miles to any other State, but I can see Canada less then a block away from my house.
You must live down by my old neighborhood. I lived on Maple street for several years, down between Greenough and Elm. Sounds like you may be a bit closer to Clydes. (I miss my "Big C" burger... nobody does it like Clydes.)

That or you live on the other side of the bridge down by Lakeshore Dr.

From Seattle, Washington it is:

112 miles to the Canadian Border in Blaine via I-5
130 miles to the Oregon Border between Kelso and Rainier via I-5 and a few roads through Kelso
298 miles to the Idaho Border near Spokane via I-90

Where I'm at now: El Paso. It's like 4 miles to Mexico or like 15 to New Mexico lol Back home it's somewhere around 120-150 to Mexico or 200+ to Arizona or Nevada.

I'm 2 miles from the state line between SC and NC. I am a runner and frequently run to the border and back to get a quick 4 miles in.
