I live in Northeast Charlotte. I'm 27.7 miles to Carowinds Amusement Park. Directly on the border of SC and NC.
Reminds me of when I drove from NY to FL and went through NC and then all the sudden it randomly changed to SC and I didn't even realize it until I got to GA.

Oh wait. You were driving on I-95. Unfortunately you can not tell the difference of the two states on that stretch of highway. That is the most boring stretch of highway you can drive on through the Carolina's. No major cities you really get to pass through so you can't tell LOL.

Yeah it was an incredibly boring ride. Never will I do it again. One thing I did notice is that NC had nice rest areas. SC was a different story...
I flew into the airport at Charlotte once for a connecting flight. Wish I could have visited the city that day but unfortunately I was heading to Atlanta and then back to NY in the same day.
