Do you mean British expats/immigrants or people of British descent?

I mean British expats/immigrants. My husband is from England and we have only met a few here and there. They must be somewhere. Would like to relocate somewhere with a bit more of the population. We know there are some in NYC, but don't want anything to do with living there.

The Washington DC metro area is where you'll find a lot and most recommend looking.

My husband is English and we have 4 other English people on our block alone. Bainbridge Island (in the Puget Sound) has weather typical of England and I would assume that is why there are so many people here from the UK.

I don't think the British tend to flock together like immigrants from many other countries do.
They seem a lot more spread out. I had friends from the U.K when we lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a few here. There are many more in this area, in fact both nearby cities have British stores/restaurants that sell things like bangers, Marmite, Picalilli and even Spotted Dick.
