I live in Baltimore presently, and dealt with what I felt was a kind of irritating situation with our local parking situation. Certain neighborhoods here (notably Fed Hill) are absolutely horrible for parking. I know many other cities have this problem as well.

If you had to pick a major city that takes the cake though for draconian parking regulations, lack of parking space, high ticket prices & fees, and just overall parking mayhem, what would you pick?

I haven't traveled around our nation that much - but for what it's worth, Washington DC's mayor/ citiy council just this month, is proposing zoning many more blocks in the central city to "resident only" parking. This comes on top of hundreds of speeding/ red light enforcement cameras which the city added in the last few years, which generate $120 fines (although the $120 rate is right now being lowered). And many downtown streets being striped with "bicycle lanes" - making less room for motor traffic.

New Orleans, in of near the French Quarter. A patrolling fleet of police tow trucks in constant motion, towing every violator to the impoundment yard. No tickets -- they just tow you, unceremoniously, it takes them about 60 seconds to get you hitched up and out, and they don't care how much your car is damaged in the process. If the sign says "no parking 4 to 6 pm", they'll have you out of there by 4:01. The tow truck drivers are trained police officers, wearing sidearms, with a shotgun in the truck.

Id say this is the worst, getting a ticket is a pain but getting towed is a major hassle

I believe the intent of Parking Wars originally was to showcase various cities parking situations.
Apparently they had so much footage in Philly, they just stayed and shot multiple seasons.

The series is based on a documentary of the same name which was filmed in 2001, also featuring PPA.
