If money weren't an issue, I'd go with California hands down over FLatland. However, if money were an issue, I'd have to pick Florida for quality of life reasons.
Um, are you serious? California hands down. For so many reasons than I can possibly mention. I can't believe people actually voted for the useless swampland filled with New Jersey retirees, also known as America's Wang :P
I mean, for a fun example, how many songs are there about Florida vs. about California? "Hotel Florida"? "Florida Love"? "Florida Here I Come"? "It Never Rains in Southern Florida"? "Florida Girls"? I think not.

heh
Maybe because they've actually been there?
In my little neighborhood alone I've met several CA people who have left the Bay Area for northern Florida.
People just don't know. They think the entire state of Florida is some sort of nightmarish third world Disneyland.
It's not. But I guess I should just keep quiet about it before it becomes another overcrowded unaffordable California.
