It's something that came on my mind that interests me. I tried a google search, but that didn't help to answer my question. Also, I'll accept ZIP codes in territories too.

The problem is that the most remote places will not have their own zip code. For example, you might consider Edna Bay Alaska to be among the most remote. It's a tiny town (Pop. 49) on remote Kosciusko Island, but shares it's zip code (99950) with Ketchikan.
Within the lower 48, I'd say 89405. There is a huge area from near Reno, up to the Oregon line that the zip code map says is "area not defined by zip code", which I presume means there is no post office nor mail box nor rural delivery service. Right in the middle of it, though, is a patch of 89405, which has 179 households whose address is Empire, Nevada. The area with no zip code extends about 130 miles, and Empire is 53 miles from an address that has a different zip code, at Nixon NV 89424. By road, it is 160 miles from one zip code to another through Empire.
Hawaii is the most isolated place in the world, by geography.
