Nominate a developed area, in terms of a suburb, as one of the most conservative developed area/spaces in America. You can list your choice by county or city/town.

Some might want to list large central cities of metro areas, but in reality suburbs are more conservative than even the most conservative central primary cities. This is more or less to highlight the most conservative non-rural/developed areas.

Try to prove that your nomination is one of the most conservative by providing details on voting records and other conservative criteria.

So let's hear them.

Most conservative?

Orange County, CA used to be. Maricopa County, AZ is pretty conservative.

The north side of Fulton county (Atlanta metro), in Georgia, has been attempting to split off and become "Milton" County for years. Tired of paying for all the crap for Atlanta. Socially and financially conservative.

Several counties in Florida are very conservative, as are several in Texas. All depends what you are looking for.

I would hardly call Maricopa County "most" conservative.

Ottawa County, Michigan, which contains the most conservative suburbs of Grand Rapids, MI, including Jenison, Hudsonville, and Zeeland.

Excerpt from The Daily Caller:

"Ottawa County, Mich.
Largest city: Holland
The Dutch Reformed community that immigrated to the U.S. in the 19th century was a distinctive immigrant group. The center of its American immigration was western Michigan, and while Grand Rapids is the center of Dutch America, Ottawa County is the most Dutch by percentage. In a resounding contrast to the modern Netherlands, the Dutch are considered to be the most conservative ethnic group in all of modern America (only the Cubans are close). Ottawa County is on the right bank of Lake Michigan. Its largest city is appropriately named Holland. House Intelligence ranking member Pete Hoekstra is representative of the area’s conservative tradition."

America’s most conservative-friendly counties, part three: numbers 41-60 | The Daily Caller

The suburbs to the north of DFW, Houston, and Atlanta have to be up there. Montgomery County Texas is definately the most conservative suburban county in Texas.
