I have faced the reality that I can't move anywhere until I get a drivers license and finish my degree. In the meantime I will still find time to travel and you will see me make my way through various points South and Southwest. By 2008-09 I will fully be ready to make the true move. I will still post on here and bring you my words of wisdom. Especially on the PA section for those considering a move to the Lehigh Valley-Poconos-Philadelphia areas.

I had a similar revelation around one month ago, when I made a detailed expense sheet for the next several months to finally give myself a truly accurate gauge on my finances for the next few month, so as to be able to determine exactly when it it that I will be able to move. It was the smartest thing I have ever done. Rather than setting unrealistic dates for myself as I had been doing for the past few months and inevitably setting myself up for failure, I've now made peace with the fact that I am "stuck" where I am until Christmas.

I think while there's certainly room for spontaneity, many issues like education, family obligations and finances put strains on moving, and with respect to them, it's best to be as realistic as you can, to know your limits and such so that you're not setting yourself up for failure by moving too soon.
