Fair enough, the original post wasn't clear on what sort of suburbs.

Per capita is great, especially for countries and cities comparing their developed wealth and it's the delineation used to distinguish nations from "developing" to "developed".

Not sure if it's stellar for suburbs though, think about, with per capita income you're pricing in kids below age 18 as if they're responsible for making any sort of income and all this in a suburb which are predominantly family environments.

Atlanta is in the same boat. Arguably its most prestigious neighborhood is Buckhead, which lies entirely within the city limits. So its unlikely that it would be identified as a suburb on these lists.
Other prestige suburbs in Atlanta:
Vinings
Sandy Springs
Brookhaven
Druid Hills

re a previous post, Golden Beach is in MiamiDade County and would be considered a suburb of Miami, not Ft. Lauderdale.
Then again, both cities are part of one MSA.
