Thank you so much everyone!
We have made a list and Im looking right now into making travel arrangements to visit some of the cities listed.
From all of the replies looks like Savannah, Charleston, Beaufort and Wilmington are the places we should focus on. From all the research we did over internet we are very excited as all look amazing and hopefully we will be able to call one of those cities home in near future.

Once more thank you very much!

Just curious, what eliminated St Augustine from your list?

Kyle19125, thats exactly what my wife asked me after reading the post

She is part Spanish and St. Augustine will definitely be one of our stops. I have to say Im amazed by the fact that all of the cities mention as "best coastal" are located so close to each other , 2, 3 hours away. That makes our job way easier and more affordable as well.

Also as an FYI worth checking out in the area is Fernandina Beach, which sit northeast of Jacksonville (commuting distance) on the FL/GA line. It's smaller than St Augustine and a good bit less touristy.

Smile seaside

I would also like to know a seaside town, that offers jobs, and is open to a gay person. I love the towns some of you mention, but the south has limitations on open minded living and it's usually very religious and not too open minded. I dont care what others beliefs are, as long as they are a loving community.
