Albuquerque, New Mexico (all of New Mexico actually) is known for its New Mexican food (slight variations when compared to traditional Mexican food) as it infuses Native American ingredients with Spanish ingredients. Red and Green Chile smothered on one's food is a staple here.

Salmon as well, except that we catch it ourselves.

I've been meaning to visit Buffalo and try a Beef on Weck sandwich. What is the name of that famous place that serves them? The original place run by the Polish family?

My family used to go to Buffalo every month for shopping and wings at Duff's when I was a kid. Now we have like four Duff's locations in TO, but they don't have that lovely dive-bar ambiance of the original If I had a car, I'd come to Buffalo more often. Despite what some people on this board say, I think it's a cool city with lots of interesting things to see and do.

Focusing on Boston its mostly New England Cuisine that is unique to the area:

- Fried Whole Belly Clams
- Clam Chowder
- Baked Beans
- Yankee Pudding
- Lobster Rolls
- Baked Haddock and Scrod
- North Shore Style Roast Beef Sandwiches
- American Chop Suey

- Also while the food of an immigrant group, since 87% of the estimated 500,000 Cape Verdeans live in Massachusetts, Cape Verdean cuisine is something I have only personally seen in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, not aware of any restaurants elsewhere in the country.
