i am an international tourist. i have a medical bill here in US. Can smb help me and let me know, what can happen if i fail to pay this bill? i am leaving the US in couple weeks but i will return next year. can this affect my entry in US?

Your medical providers will happily blow off 80-90% of your bill, and accept what they would have charged an insurance company. So start by making an offer. But as a practical matter, I'd be very surprised if they chased you around the world to try to collect it.

Legally, they can probably do something if they know you are in the country, but I don't think immigration has any concern for debts you might owe, unless there is a warrant for your arrest, and medical providers do not do that. If you negotiate monthly payments with the medicals, you can just let them go until the month before you plan to return, they make one monthly payment just before returning, and they can't take any legal action against you until you are in arrears again.

How much money are we talking about?
