What cities have the most graffiti? I've noticed you can't just pick the usual suspects for blight. I actually haven't seen much graffiti in areas of Baltimore that look dodgy.

I'd say many of the larger cities will probably have more graffiti. I'm thinking like New York City where there's a lot of blank walls and some off the street nooks and crannies that an average person couldn't/wouldn't spend time trying to reach.

The more artsy/hipster parts of Baltimore (Station North, Hampden) have more graffiti. That type of graffiti is more art and not like the "RIP Lil Black" type of graffiti that you would find in rough parts of the city.

LA has tons of graffiti, but more of the gang-territory marker and tag variety than the colourful artistic mural kind that used to be so common in New York.

As someone who's been all across America, Oakland by far has the most graffiti

NYC has a lot but less than in the past. I notice that the hipster neighborhoods embrace graffiti, so you'll find the most of it there

For what you would expect, especially around the hard hit west and south sides, Chicago has relatively little. There's a very established and active graffiti blasting program where you can put in a ticket online if you see anything and they will show up within a number of days and remove. Active areas people hit are building that can be seen from the L since they would get a huge audience.
