Where is the best place to live for a single 21 year old male to live in the USA? I am single, like night life, with a relatively low cost of living.

Don't come to Orange County. Night life shuts down around 10pm and although surprisingly affordable, you can't live on the cheap here.

St. Louis is inexpensive and has a decent bar culture, but most of the women are married by the time they hit 22.

I recommend Pittsburgh. Great nightlife, good singles scene, and very inexpensive.

Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Boston, Denver or Minneapolis.

Can't go wrong with the classics either: NYC, Philly, Chicago

San Francisco, Boston, and NYC are not affordable, but yes the other places are and they're good places. You could put Miami and New Orleans ahead of them.

Seriously, do you have any idea about your future career? For example, If you are a computer programmer, SF Bay area and Seattle area are probably the best, even though the cost of living is sort of high. Houston is good if you intend to work in oil and gas industry.

No city is dirt cheap anymore. With a well paid job, you can live happily even in the most expensive city.

New Orleans would be a good one. It's a rising city in the USA, and beloved.

Honolulu has the highest quality of life from some surveys, but it's expensive and many hate the isolation.
