I'm having a hard time coming up with the rights words to use, so perhaps that's why my searches have yielded no fruit. I'm looking for a list of U.S. cities (top 20 to top 50) that generate the most revenue. Individual income taxes, corporate income taxes, etc. I am only interested in the total moneys generated. Separating State tax revenues and Federal tax revenues would be helpful, but not completely necessary. They key to this question is by CITY, i want to know how much money New York City (and maybe its metropolitan areas) generate for the State of New York as well as the United States Government. Again, I'm not just looking for stats on NYC, but a list of the top 20-50 CITIES, NOT STATES!!! Thanks.
