Interesting list--This doesn't seem to count airport layover visitors, though. Or if it does, then I'm surprised Pittsburgh doesn't show up here.

And though it's not a metro or big city by any measure, I thought Branson, MO might show up on the list.

That's the thing, they don't tell you either who is on business and who is on non scheduled vacations, tours, simply visits.

Often they are combined I'll bet. Because, corporations pay those high hotel bills, in city cores they are all wont to keep building.

You can't get a room at the Y in NYC for less than about 175 per night.

I am not suprised Vegas is first. They give out free hotel rooms to just about anyone who has ever gambled anywhere.

I am suprised that Kansas City would beat Baltimore. Who knew?

I would like to know their methodology. Am somewhat surprised Denver isn't on the list (considering who IS), but I know most people go to CO for the mountains.
