Would you mind posting the link to 2007 ACS information, as the latest I've been able to find online has been from the 2006 ACS? I'm curious to see just how horribly my own MSA fared in terms of median household income, population estimate, etc. Thanks!

Interesting, because this data is significantly off from the data I found on the this FannieMae website based on 2007 HUD data. A lot of the MSA median household incomes from ACS appear much more understated compared to what HUD finds.

i'd like to see stats showing a median income -vs- cost of living comparison - in other words, most bang for the buck. it ain't gonna be San Jose, that's for sure. what good is a median salary of 80K when the average housing price is 800k?

StuyTownRefugee is on a distinguished road
These are all much more extensive MSA's that dilute data more than the immediate metro areas of the places. If one extends the area to include parts of NY area for instance it will bring it lower than without including far extremes.
