Hello all,

We are on the verge of moving across the US for work - unfortunately we have only a list of possibilities and a very limited option to choose as it is at the company's requirements - we have no way to demand a certain place, but it can be done so long as we are not wishy washy about it.

We really only have 1 main priority - Youth Sports. Our 5th grade son is very athletic and is constantly at the top of any team sport he plays. His passion is Football (Soccer here), but he is also just getting into Lacrosse. I know every city across the US has some form of each sport , going on, but we are looking for SERIOUS teams that want to succeed, not casual recreation trophy set ups.

We would appreciate input from people living in or having lived in one or more of the city's listed below. Please only post if you have first hand experience and know for certain.

We are no strangers to moving around, and can make most things work, but our son is the #1 priority. When we go it will be a 6yr minimum so we really need that athletic outlet. We are currently in Northern VA which offers everything sports wise and brings excellent opportunities.

Please check the list and see if you are able to chime in. Yes, we realize there is a lot more to living somewhere than what we're asking for, but we can suck it up for a few years to get him into college - after that we can move wherever we like. We are also aware that sports information can be found on that city's home page, but it is rarely accurate based on places we have lived so far.

Thanks in advance.
