No, in fact I can't imagine saving enough on the dental work to justify the cost of the flight and lodging. I have had a lot of dental work including a few root canals and implants and rarely have to pay out of pocket more than a few hundred dollars. My employer provides dental insurance but even if they didn't it's not very expensive, with individual plans starting at just $45/month with $1,000 deductible.
If you want to go to Europe on vacation fine, but why ruin it by spending time in a dentist chair?
Russian dentistry is notoriously barbaric. Americans would be much better off going to South America. Especially Brazil. But there is no need to go so far, Mexican dentistry is of excellent quality, right on the border.
American consulates in every country have a list of the dentists in-country who have earned a reputation of doing very competent work on expats and diplomatic staff.
Ask your American dentist what he thought the first time he ever looked into the mouth of a Russian immigrant.
