I'm speaking overall across the country with exceptions to places like St. Louis and maybe a few others. I know baseball is king in St. Louis.
In every single city listed so far, football is much bigger than baseball. The popularity gap between football and other team sports in America is vast, even in unexpected places (like St Louis).
Cincinnati belongs in the conversation; but I wonder if that would be the case if the Bengals were not such a perennial dumpster fire.
