Within an approximately 11-12-hour driving radius of Duluth there is:

> Devil's Tower, Wyoming
> Billings, Montana (12 hours if you're really in a hurry!)
> Regina, Saskatchewan
> Tulsa, Oklahoma
> The Ozarks
> Louisville, Kentucky
> Cedar Point amusement park
> Detroit, MI
> Sudbury, ON

Very limited compared to Chicago, where you can theoretically get to NYC, Atlanta, Baltimore, Ottawa, the Wall Drug Store in western South Dakota, and even Monroe, LA within +/- 12 hours.
I drove from Milwaukee to Toronto in 12 hours, disregarding eastern and central time changes.

We're trying to compare apples-to-apples, and we can't account for drivers who go 100 mph the whole way. Maybe mileage is a better indicator than hours?

So: 12 hours at 70 mph = 840 miles or less, please.
