Or all in one storm! We had rain, hail, thunder, lightning, snow and close to hurricane force winds. A few days before it was in the 80's. LOL

Salt Lake sounds about perfect ... it's also a really nice metro and the mountains are very accessible ..... if you can deal with the inversions then the rest should suit you well

56" of snow per year on the average

2 months where the average high hits 90+ (nights and mornings are still very comfortable so that's a bonus)

It gets cold, but not nearly as cold as places like the Twin Cities

It's also not crazy humid either
