It's a community college, but one of my favorites are the Grays Harbor Chokers. Just not the name for a sports team. lol. It comes from the logging term.

But some of the more "interesting" Oregon high schools:
Tillamook "Cheesemakers"
Astoria "Fishermen"
Springfield "Millers"
Grants Pass "Cavemen"
Seaside "Seagulls"
OES "Aardvarks"
Franklin "Quakers"
Pleasant Hill "Billies"
Lakeview "Honkers" and the Arlington "Honkers"
Bend "Lava Bears"
Huntington "Locomotives"
Oakland "Oakers"

They even have a "Logger Bob" costume that some poor kid gets roped into dressing up in for the football games and who dances around with the cheerleaders.
Heck, there are four schools in Oregon nicknamed the "Loggers."

I always get a bit of a chuckle when Catholic schools use the name Trojans because of the condoms. I know here there are the Hartington Cedar Catholic Trojans. These are all great btw. My favorite so far listed has to be the Thunder Chicken!

Well, my high school was the Central High School Cobblers. Yes that's right cobblers, as in shoe makers.

Churchland High in Portsmouth, Va is home of the Truckers. And Booker T Washington HS is home of the Bookers (think gambling).

These are somewhat less noble professions than other HS mascots in the same district--Presidents, Commodores, Pilots, and Titans.
