My results were 93% Philly. My second highest accent result is the generic northeastern option at 82%.

96% "The West"

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

Considering I have a British/Australian accent (even British people think I'm British as opposed to Australian), but have lived in the States for 8 years (MO and NC) I was interested to see what the outcome of this would be!

It pegged me at 100% Northeast.

I also had my husband (who is from Texas) do the quiz and it claimed he had a Midland accent which isn't actually correct, although in my opinion his accent is 'neutral American', and doesn't make me think of any one region in particular.

Funny considering I grew up on the Great Lakes, guess that's what happens when you move around a lot and pick up local accents.

The midland.....I'm from South Carolina but my age 27 probably plays a factor....people my age when I was younger grew up watching a lot of Nickelodeon and Disney channel etc teachers didn't have a southern accent and parents were from the north so I never picked up the southern accent

Midland - 85%
Boston - 50
North central - 46
The south - 46

100% Inland North. I'm from Tennessee (lived there for the first 32 years of my life. Most people I encounter here say they either can't tell I have an accent, or can only faintly detect my accent with certain words.
