Midland accent. I've from Massachusetts but not the BAWSTON part. So the rest of us speak midland.

My result was Inland North, a region I've never even visited. In real life, I have a distinctly southern drawl.

I completely disagree with the no-Western accents. Californians have this unmistakable way of speaking (not all of them-just like nowhere you go will EVERYONE possess the accent). Just listen to the right person say the word Sacramento. Listen to those vowels. Christ.

I agree. I have a close friend from Orange County and she pronounces many words unusually, especially when it comes to vowels as you said. The way she says 'tour' specifically is so odd I can't even mimic her. It's almost like "to-war" but it flows, meanwhile I say "tore".

I know someone else from Orange County and she's the same way. It's so hard to pick up you usually can't even point it out, but you know it sounds different and unlike anything you've heard before, at least IMO.

That was so funny. It said Boston, which is near where I'm from, although I haven't lived there for 45 years and thought I had picked up more Midwestern since then.
