We had a foot of snow on Christmas eight years ago, and it hasn't snowed since. On typical winter days, when I walk to the supermarket, I wear a long sleeve shirt, unless it's sunny.

We have already received around 30 inches of snow this month. We received close to 40 inches last April.

Edited to add very little snow ever falls here. If it does, or if it is even possible in the forecast, grocery stores will be raided as if there will never be food again.

Funny because the hubby and I are looking at vacation/retirement property in Northern Michigan. I simply don't do hot.

I'm at a higher elevation than most of the state which is why our lows are so low.
