A lot of people on FB are getting Florida, including me; some suggest that this is really just a marketing tool for the state! LOL

I got Georgia. I spent a couple weeks in Atlanta and I LOVED the people. If it wasn't for the traffic and big city I'd move there. Maybe I should look into other places in Georgia not so city.

My husband got Utah

I had a few very borderline variables, so I adjusted those variables five times. This means I took the test five times.

My five states: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida.

I could easily live in parts of the first two. Upcountry or Charleston in South Carolina, or Nashville, or maybe Knoxville or Chattanooga in Tennessee. Florida doesn't interest me.

I grew up in Kentucky and now live in California. California's nice and I like the state, but I'll always be a proud Southerner, although I'm not necessarily sure I'd move back to Kentucky, at least as a young man. However, I'm not all prototypical Southern.

My dress style is kind of Bay Area casual (not SoCal casual, that's different and sometimes just trashy), and I've always hated the pretentious dress of Keeneland or college game tailgating. (I mean, really, you're dressed in polo this and Ducks Unlimited that, betting $2 on horses at Keeneland before you get drunk at the same redneck bar you get drunk at every weekend in downtown Lexington...W-T-F???!!) I also hate the Duck Dynasty, Git 'R Done, tweety-bird-shirt-from-Walmart styles that are a "fashion" show at Walmarts in small towns all over the South; those are the people that make a laughingstock even amongst many Southerners (but at least we do laugh at ourselves!)

My verbal communication style isn't "brusque" as I'm really quite polite, but I can also be very honest and some people don't like that. Southerners are much more "plain" and even blunt than people from outside the region give them credit for. Californians sometimes find that not so favorable, so I've found. #rantends
