Seattle or D.C. A lot of oppurtunity in the tech-industry.

Denver for me too. I love the combination of city with easy access to the mountains for recreation. The weather is perfect in my mind. Lots of variety in rain and snow but predominately dry and sunny. I adore Salt Lake City for the same reasons but prefer Denver due to its liberal slant.

Mine would be Phoenix, where I live, because everywhere else sucks.

Sargents, Texas

Because, well, it's perfect. Right on the intercoastal waterway, on the Gulf of Mexico, lots of fishing, warm weather. You just can't beat it.

This is exactly the question I asked myself two years ago, before quitting my job, selling my house, two cars and most of my stuff, and moving.

Living in the heart of San Francisco now, it's hard to imagine being as happy anywhere else. The mix of urban/outdoors/culture/cuisine/weather/lifestyle/attitude/economy/scenery/etc. is simply unmatched.
