Which cities have the most braggarts? You know the type, the people who refuse to acknowledge that their city has any faults and bristle when someone else views their city as mediocre or average.

There's only one king of bragging - and that's Miami. People live in shacks but drive around in expensive cars because that's what others see them in.

L.A. is a fairly close second.

NYC residents brag about intellectualism and cosmopolitanism - but they are merely stating a fact.

Atlanta doesn't have much to brag about and thus, there are few braggarts to be found.

Bostoners don't really brag - they are just better than everybody else.

Los Angeles: fake people who believe this city is world class, but lacks the education, class, civility and manners to be one.

Well believe it. In these cities, homerism reigns supreme. Though I might just be thinking about CD posters from these cities.

Says somebody from the Bay Area.

I'm born and raised in San Jose, now residing in SoCal. I don't understand this irrational hate to the southland that people in the Bay Area have.

Absolutely true. As a prime example Orlando really needs to be part of this poll and if you don't believe it, read some of the posts from those who jump on anyone that has anything negative to say in the Orlando Forum.

Anyone who doesn't put down Seattle, San Francisco, or NYC have never met anyone from these cities.

Seattle can do NO wrong. And if you refuse to call Seattle anything but a model of perfection amongst Seattle natives, they'll get pretty hostile with that. Seattle is like 75% white, but don't you DARE say Seattle is not diverse. Seattle has a high cost of living, but don't you DARE saying anything about it average of 1600-1800 a month rent. Seattle has bad traffic due to bad infrastructure, but don't you DARE mention that. Seattle has 1:30 last calls, limited night life, but don't you DARE say Seattle's night life suck. And let's not get started on Seattle women being fem nazi's, a provincial and insular population, or the well known Seattle freeze.

Dude, everything you say about Seattle is 100% applicable to Boston. It is like they are long lost twins.

-mostly white but claims to be diverse: checkmark
-high cost of living: checkmark
-bad traffic due to bad infrastructure: checkmark
-early last call, no late night public transit: checkmark
-hostile women: checkmark
-provincial and insular: checkmark
