Hi guys,

In what states people have passive-aggressive behaviour. Like it described here:

Minnesota Passive-Aggressive — Steven Alm and Friends

In what states people are opposite to it?

Thank you…

Minnesota would definitely be one, but for sure not the only one.

I've known a ton of very passive aggressive Southerners. It's a markedly different kind of passive aggression than you get in Minnesota, but the three most passive aggressive people I've ever known are from Minnesota and Texas, and Louisiana.

People here in Dallas-Fort Worth fit that mold of fake friendly, passive-aggressiveness pretty well.

The upper Midwest, the Deep South, Utah, and non-urban lower New England.

Essentially, I see a strong correlation between passive aggression and Protestantism.

I would agree regarding the South, especially if one comes to realize what the term "well bless your heart" really means.

What does it really mean?

If by lower New England you mean southern New England (MA/CT/RI) then I agree with you 100%.

IN New Jersey the neighbor in the case would have responded with "go to hell" or "I don't give a s___ what you think" or go F yourself and slammed the door, or gave you a lecture on how its his property and he can do whatever he wants. Is that the kind of "direct" you prefer?

Well, it is not my article. I found in internet.
Regarding myself, I would probably prefer something in the middle. I don’t like passive-aggressive behavior as I consider it fake and dishonest.

On the other hand I don’t like impolite people.

So, I think something in the middle would be perfect.
