I agree, LovinDecatur - so many Ohio cities are overlooked for some reason. They fly under the radar.

I'd like to explore Indianapolis more. I have a friend that moved there from Atlanta and loves it.

indianapolis can annex the whole state of indiana and therefore gain millions more of population for all i care, will it make it bigger too?
thats like sayin san antonio is one of the largest cities in the country too, nobody except u cares tho

Either way, work on getting the criteria together and try again. People can suggest cities/areas, but unless there is a clear description of what you want, it isn't going to make a difference what we suggest. Pittsburgh may be too small, as it isn't that bigger than the Indianapolis and Columbus metros.

According to that link Indianapolis is #29. Most of the cities in the 20-30 range of metro sizes arent vastly different population wise. Why do you say you'll be bored in Columbus or Indy?

If you could get a work or student visa, I think that Toronto might be exactly what you're looking for.

yea its not all about population, however pittsburgh seems like it has a nice, dense and rather big downtown and city core, given its size
