I like some of the southern accents. However, especially as of recently, I've really been liking the New Jersey accent. I like how they talk and how they say the long "ah" sound instead of the "er" or "uhr" sound. Like instead of Car (ca-er), they say "Caah" of "Caa", instead of Door, they say like "Doa", instead of Water, they say "Uodaah".
My favorite accents are the Yat and Cajun accents from the New Orleans/SE Louisiana area, the Brooklyn and Queens accents from the NYC, Boston accent, the DC area accent, the Tidewater accent, that King's English accent in the Outer Banks region of North Carolina, the Atlanta accent, the St. Louis accent, New Jersey accent, Chicago accent, the Burquenos/ABQ accent, and the East Texas accent.
I love the Iron Range accent of Northeastern Minnesota. It kind of sounds like a mix of Fargo and Dublin, really cool.
I have a friend from the Iron Range and one from Oklahoma. I can understand each of them on their own but I find it utterly hilarious when the two of them carry on a conversation.
Iron Range <3 <3 It's such a perfect combo of General Canadian and North Central American that it almost sounds Irish.
I also love the verrrrryyyy slow drawl you sometimes hear in the Deep South. I knew a woman once with such an intense drawl it always sounded like she was singing when she spoke.
