Yeah, but I learned "blog" later in life from "log," so it doesn't have the accent from when I was a child. I go back and forth between lahg-in and lawg-in.

Blog rhymes with log, which I pronounce like "L-AH-G". Dog is pronounced "D-AW-G". Close, but not exactly the same.

I don't find them close, rather different sounds. Interesting how some posters take it for granted they're the same sound.

I saw "dawg" and "frahg". Frog and blog rhyme for me.
