Question 401K to 101K ?

Does the current housing fallout cause you to worry about your 401K? This was mentioned in another post because the builder collapsed and I begin to wonder if this has become an increasing concern.
From the finance folks, how much of a 401 could be part of this mix?

401Ks (or is that a 101K ) could be affected by the subprime mortgages but I think the question is could it be a cause of the market collapse, which I don't understand at all. Also, what is a 101K?

too many people who simply dont understand how markets work. Many people who did not adequately plan for retirement bought into the notion that their home was their retirement investment, rather than a shelter.
