New York and New Orleans....hands down.

I guess if you wanna go small you could go with Austin or Nashville.

Perhaps, but Harrier mentioning that K.C. is in a red state and brownbagg noting that Austin is liberal help make it more appropriate around here.

Don't believe all the stories about Austin being very liberal. It is a music town, and there is lots of fine, hip stuff going on. But it is Texas, and there is little enthusiasm to have Austin become like Portland or San Francisco. Lots of guns here.

There is almost no jazz in Austin (sadly). Lots of indie rock, country, blues, rock, etc. Many touring acts. But the only stand up bass you'll hear in Austin is part of a rockabilly band.

Lol...that's a joke, right?

Greatest musician to ever come out of K.C. is one Charlie Parker.

Conservatives can only dream of producing a Charlie Parker..

Be happy that you've got Hank Williams Jr...that's the best y'all can do.

Nevermind Kansas City.

There are guns everywhere.

Texans crack me up when they act as if they're the only people in the world with guns. You can get shot just as easily in Portland or San Francisco.
