If you're going to pick a city in Colorado, I think Colorado Springs would be a more logical choice.
But Colorado is too far from the east coast. Maybe somewhere like Aurora, IL, with easy access to Chicago. All the diplomats, interns, politicians, bureaucrats, students, etc., need some culture and Chicago offers it. This is why somewhere in Kansas or Nebraska is not such a good idea either
Why does it need to be on the East coast? or near it for that matter?
I was thinking it would have to be some place outside Tornado Alley, and not near Hurricanes, or Earth Quakes, some place it could be well defended, and be the center of our nation. Like Boise City Oklahoma.
...because PittNurse70 lives there, and she's a secret government spy who has been working on building a massive underground city to house government officials.

Well so is Colorado. But this map here shows the area I have suggested shows that it is not in the alley most dangerous zone.. as a matter of fact its not in it at all on this map.
I don't see arguments against NYC.....what say you all?
