Women tend to be tall in the South, I am about average 5'11 6'0 and I know a lot of girls my height or taller.

Average to above. NOLA girls seem really short. I'm 5'3" and I never really felt average height or even tall til I moved here.

6'2" and average to slightly above average I guess.

In Toronto I feel tall generally due to the large numbers of shorter East/South Asians on the subway I guess. In rural Ontario, where I grew up, I feel about average. Most of the men in my family are larger than I am. (Scottish family originally, but having been in Canada since the 1760s.)

I'm 5'7". in Syracuse, I'm just another short guy. Portland, Oregon made me feel diminutive.

5'11" and feel average in Alabama and feel like I would feel average in virtually every American city. I might feel a little short in some Northern European cities where the average can top 6 feet, and I'd definitely feel tall in Asian cities.
