I live in Boise so our newscasts are obsessed with the Boise Broncos. We have to hear everything the coach does, every decision the coaching staff makes, every player status update. I HATE IT.
Before here, I lived in Denver. And it was the same thing.
Is every town and city in America like this? Whether it be college football, or NFL? Is there any place I can live where there isn't an obsession with football during football season?
If you go to an area that has neither, they will talk about high school football. You just have to realize that it is one of the most popular sports in this country and that they need to fill air time with something.
