My town Boise Idaho is football football football... I get so sick and tired of it. I want to move someplace where nobody gives a crap about football (college or pro), and the media doesn't obsess over it.
Any ideas?

Is it only football that bugs you or all sports?
On any given weekend you can turn on your tv and watch cars going around in circles for 3 hours or watch 2 bearded fat guys sitting in a bass boat talking about bait. If it's only football you hate I would suggest St.Louis because even in the middle of football season most of what you will be hearing about is baseball.

Northern New England, yes, there is the Patriots, but up in Northern VT, NH and ME it really is a non big deal and college football isn't a big thing here. You will get some Boston media markets though so the Pats will be spoken about.

I was thinking Las Vegas. It does not have a pro football team, and I doubt UNLV football dominates Las Vegas like Boise Bronocos dominates Boise. I am also considering Phoenix. It is not a winter sport town. Yes it is only football season I hate. I love baseball season.

Go to a city that has good warm weather recreation year long. Los Angeles, San Diego and Miami probably care the least about football because the people there have lives.

I can't imagine wanting to actually move somewhere else to try to get away from football. Unless of course, people are throwing tailgate parties in your yard.

Heck, I live in a city with four professional sports teams, and I couldn't tell you what three of the four are doing at any point in time because I don't pay attention to them. Ditto with the local college teams.
