Thanks citylove...the second thread there gets very close to what I'm talking about. The first one ehhh...just because people live in the same neighborhood that doesn't always mean they interact and like each other I mean I'm sure the Hatfields and McCoys live in the same town too. lol
I know some of the neighborhoods in the thread I started and yes people in them do actually live side by side and get along in a mellow way. That's true IMO in Hyde Park Chicago, Ft Greene Brooklyn and Mt. Airy Philadelphia, at least in my experience. But I guess racially relaxed cities are to me non existant but racially relaxed neighborhoods do exist. Just my experience. YMMV.
