I'm currently 16 (almost 17) and in Indiana and I want to move to a different state in the next 2 years or so. College and amount of work isn't all that important and specific towns are also helpful, thanks

What's important:
Same-sex marriage must be legal
Horse friendly (I plan on owning a few)
Low crime/poverty
climate (4 seasons is preferable)

I'm thinking about washington state :3

You said 4 seasons.

Washington state is overcast/not warm for much of the year (basically 2 seasons west of the Cascades).

Pick one.
· CA, CT, DE, DC,
· HI, IL, IA, ME,
· MD, MA, MN, NH,
· NJ, NM, NY, OR,
· PA, RI, VT, WA,
· WI

True, I did xD but I didn't want winter to take 6 months, and I like that kind of weather.

Sacramento, CA--mild, four-season climate; plenty of sunshine, esp. in the summer; docile weather (i.e., no hurricanes, no tornadoes, no ice storms, no blizzards); plenty of trees/greenery; tolerant, open-minded people with a live-and-let-live attitude (e.g., no one cares what religion you are); diverse; plenty of cultural amenities; gorgeous, family-friendly suburbs; stronger economy than southern Indiana, esp. in the tech and gov't sectors; nice, convenient airport; 2 hrs. to the Bay Area/SV, 2 hrs. to Tahoe, 1.25 hrs. to LA and LV by plane; generally affordable housing prices by CA standards; lots of new construction; surprisingly good infrastructure; moderate yet progressive politics.
