Not surprised to see Richmond Virginia on this list. Jobs, entertainment, and natural beauty. Unarguably America's best city by far.

I can't speak for all of these cities, but the fact that Rochester, NY was included indicates to me that this list is a joke. We may have shorter work hours and easy commutes, but that's because there are hardly any decent full time jobs in our market and our infrastructure was built for a population much higher than the one we have now. I'm usually the first one to defend my city, but in this case they're wrong. In my opinion, as beautiful of a place it is, it is actually very stressful to live in Rochester, NY.

As far as SACRAMENTO is concerned they are dead on, in fact, Sacramento should be higher on that list.

It's very easy to live in Sacramento as a middle class person, decent housing costs, easy access to so much natural geography with excellent weather to enjoy it all. Great local parks, rivers and lakes.

Sacramento is one of the most racially integrated cities in the nation as well.

What about cities in Hawaii? They should have counted one of those on the list too!
